The Opie CollecPeter and Iona Opie were a husband and wife team who had extensive careers as folklorists and authors, known for establishing a world class collection of some 20,000 works written or published for children ranging from the 16th to the 20th century (mainly British) as a private research resource. The Opie Collection has been microfiche formatted by University Microfiche International and subsequently distributed by them.
